Donald L. Feurzeig
Donald L. Feurzeig began his legal career at the Internal Revenue Service, first as a revenue agent, then as an estate tax attorney. He later moved to the Appellate Division of the IRS, where he concentrated on major tax disputes with a specialty in estate tax matters. Mr. Feurzeig develops estate plans, supervises the preparation of estate tax returns, and is extremely effective in dispute resolution with federal and state tax authorities in the income, estate and gift tax areas. He received his undergraduate education at Roosevelt University in Chicago and earned his law degree at De Paul University in Chicago. He was an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University where he taught estate and generation-skipping tax courses in the Masters in Taxation program. He has lectured at numerous estate planning conferences, for the Continuing Education of the Bar, and to IRS appeals officers on estate tax and related topics. Mr. Feurzeig is a Certified Specialist in Taxation (The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization).
